Registration of an Employee beyond 10 days of the date of appointment by Employer

The Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has informed that online system of registration has allowed the employers to register employees, beyond the 10 days of their appointment after sending a Show Cause Notice to the employer for submitting the relevant reply or records, within 15 days of issue of the Notice, to the concerned Regional Office. Failing which the date of registration of the employee will be considered as the date of appointment.
