Exemption to Government Companies

In addition to the notification dated June 05, 2015, MCA amended the following sections:
1. Section 2(45) – ‘Paid-up share capital’ shall be construed as ‘total voting power’, where shares with DVR have been issued – explanation inserted; and
2. Section 188(1) – Govt. Company may also enter into a contract or arrangements with Central Govt. or State Govt. or any combination thereof.
