The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has appointed October 1, 2018, as the date of constitution of National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA) to provide for matters relating to accounts and auditing standards under the section 132(1) of act.
Further, MCA has also enforced section 132(1) & (12) of Companies Act, 2013 and as per section 132(12) of the Act, the head office of NFRA shall be at New Delhi and it may meet at such other places in India as it deems fit.

BSE vide circular dated October 10, 2018 has moved to provide the status of an application for schemes of arrangement on its online filing portal i.e. “BSE Listing Centre”, as an additional service creating further transparency to listed companies 
The status displayed on the portal will also reflect as to when the Exchange has provided its comments/observations to SEBI on the schemes.
BSE would gradually provide the status of all types of listing applications on this portal as a value-added service to its companies

Every valuation required to be done under the provisions of Code or any of the regulations made thereunder is required to be conducted by a ‘registered valuer’, that is, a valuer registered with the IBBI under the Companies (Registered Valuers and Valuation) Rules, 2017.
It is hereby directed that with effect from February 1, 2019, no insolvency professional shall appoint a person other than a registered valuer to conduct any valuation under the Code or any of the regulations made thereunder.

Ministry of Corporate Affairs has notified sub-sections (2), (4), (5), (10), (13), (14) and (15) of section 132 of Companies Act, 2013 related to constitution of National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA) effectively from October 24, 2018.
