In order to give an opportunity to the defaulting Companies for filing their belated returns, MCA has introduced Companies Fresh Start Scheme, 2020 (CFSS-2020) condoning the delay of filing of required documents with the registrar.
• Form CFSS-2020 has to be filed electronically for seeking this immunity
• During the scheme, the filing may be done after paying the normal fees.
• Form for an increase in authorized capital (Form SH-7) and charge related documents (CHG-1, CHG-4, CHG-8 and CHG-9) cannot be filed under this scheme
• Also, the inactive companies get an opportunity to get themselves declared as dormant companies
Effective date: April 01, 2020, to September 30, 2020
